- In this analysis, spots from a cell were NOT sorted into different chromosome traces. There is only one "chromosome trace” per cell. Therefore, for each "chromosome trace”, the number of spots per locus is typically up to 4 (on average ~1.5), due to sister chromatids, homologous chromosomes, false positives, etc.
