Immortalized cell line

Non-synchromized GM12878 lymphoblasts (Coriell) were cultured in RPMI 1640 (Gibco), 2mM L-glutamine, 15% fetal bovine serum, and 1x penicillin-streptomycin and maintained at 37°C under 5% CO2. Cells were seeded every 3-4 days at 200,000 cells/ml in T25 flasks, maintained at an exponential growth phase, and passaged or harvested before reaching 1,000,000 cells/ml.
